Washington Street in downtown Indianapolis.<\/p>\n<p>GeoFest, presented by Indiana-based Irving Materials, Inc. (IMI) will feature geology experts, exhibitors, chances to win geo prizes and hands-on activities that include making your own geode, discovering how rocks and minerals are used in everyday life, building crystalline structures and comparing your speed against ice age animals. Participants will also have the chance to explore the museum\u2019s natural history galleries.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGeoFest is a great opportunity to see and buy amazing gems, minerals and fossils, and to learn about the Earth through our exhibitions and special activities offered by the museum and earth science organizations from throughout the state,\u201d said Peggy Fisherkeller, curator of geology.  \u201cMany of the exhibitors will have just returned from one of the country\u2019s premiere gem and mineral shows in Tucson, Arizona, so GeoFest will be the first opportunity to see treasures from all over the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s participants are listed below:<\/p>\n<p>Vendors<br \/>\nNAYAB Gems and Minerals<br \/>\nKhyber Gemstones<br \/>\nJox Rox<br \/>\nNature\u2019s Spectrum Gems<br \/>\nHarris Precht Minerals<br \/>\nOh My!
